I have been shooting photos since I was seven years old. However, I didn't actively improve my techniques until I was in college. My first SLR was a Rollei SL35 - a fully manual camera with excellent lenses. Unfortunately, lenses and accessories for the camera were expensive and difficult to find. I sold the Rollei and changed over to Pentax/Ricoh gear. When I went digital, I kept my preference for Pentax. Currently, I use a Pentax K-5 and a K-50 as well as a variety of compact cameras. Virtually all of my photos are available on my Flickr site, and most are available for nonprofit use under a Creative Commons license.
